The selected Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of crucial tasks that underpin the financial health and integrity of our client's operations. The primary responsibilities of this role include overseeing lease accounting, ensuring accurate and compliant management of sales, use, and property taxes across numerous jurisdictions, and supporting the month-end close process. The Senior Accountant will also play a key role in account reconciliations and maintaining the financial statements' integrity in accordance with US GAAP.

Expertly manage lease accounting and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, focusing on compliance with ASC 842.

Handle the timely and accurate filing of sales & use and property taxes, while staying abreast of legislative changes.

Facilitate audits related to sales and property taxes and support a strong internal control environment.

Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Collaborate effectively with corporate functions and third-party service providers to ensure financial accuracy.

Lead and participate in projects aimed at enhancing accounting processes and efficiencies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA license is required; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.

4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a solid understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.

Previous experience in the hospitality, retail, or a similar industry, involving operations across multiple locations and tax jurisdictions, is preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Great Plains is desirable.

Public accounting experience and familiarity with external audits are highly regarded.
