Description We are in search of a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in Altamonte Springs, Florida. In this role, the Sr. Accountant will be an integral part of our financial reporting and internal control processes, with a focus on Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Accounts Payable. Responsibilities: Oversee and participate in all aspects of the financial closing process, including treasury transactions, gross margin, and cost of goods sold Oversee the tenant improvement reimbursement process, ensuring efficient documentation and timely reimbursements Conduct daily cash reporting and provide forward-looking cash flow forecasts for major cash inflows and outflows Assist in managing external audit schedules for timeliness and accuracy, and resolve audit findings and account discrepancies Support external tax accountants in creating annual state and federal tax returns Perform journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP Participate in accounting system improvements and implementations, and develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures Support and consult company personnel on accounting control procedures and prepare ad-hoc analyses, reports, and other projects as neededMessage Kathy Downs on LinkedIn for detailsRequirements Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software Demonstrable experience with general ledger functions Proficiency in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation Experience preparing journal entries Skilled in executing month-end close processes Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
