Sr. Azure Engineer

Job DescriptionSNI Technologies is looking for an experienced Azure engineer that will lead in the design/execution/maintenance of the Azure infrastructure, including workflows/cloud-based web application/solution deployments, network architecture, and data versioning and lifecycle management. Engineer will also work closely with our cybersecurity team in resolution of high priority incidents/helping maintain production stability, security, and customer server at the highest standards

• Must be able to Implement/monitor/maintain Azure solutions including major services related to compute, storage, network, and security
• Design and implement overall Azure infrastructure project components with infrastructure teams, ensuring that overall solution is designed to meet SLA, DR, monitoring, security, and scalability needs required by the solution

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Azure cloud environment: Windows/Virtual Desktops

• Have a solid understanding of integration between Azure AD and on-premises AD

• Able to manage Azure applications like databases, app services, logic apps, function apps, DevOps a +.

• Must have a solid understanding of Office 365 management/administration

• Complete technology refreshes, upgrades, and maintenance releases at times that minimally impact the core business

• 5-7+ years of hands-on Azure administration/Azure systems experience is a MUST

• Proficiency with Azure Windows Virtual Desktops is needed

• In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/Windows Server

• Proficient in PowerShell/scripting

• Detail oriented/multi-tasking/communication skills

• Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, can handle multiple tasks and set priorities

• Excellent technical problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and/or in a team- oriented manner
