Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Business Analyst in Tallahassee, Florida. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of our Project Portfolio Management tools and solutions. This role involves the translation of user stories into functional requirements and partnering with Architects and Engineers to refine these requirements.Responsibilities: Translate user stories into functional requirements, ensuring alignment to business/user requirements. Support the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of Project Portfolio Management tools and solutions. Create functional requirements and artifacts to lay out requirements for the team. Work closely with Product Managers to align the project roadmap to sprint activities. Participate in technical project planning and Agile scrum activities. Support test cycles and implement enhancements as needed. Plan and execute Business Analyst level validations of functionality to ensure alignment to functional specifications and solutions design. Assist in structuring and planning core team activities during the sprint. Review story Acceptance Criteria for completeness, clarity, and testability. Participate actively in Production deployments.Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Proficient in Agile Scrum methodology Experience in planning, executing, and implementing business strategies Proven track record in production and deployment processes Ability to translate complex business requirements into user stories Mastery in defining acceptance criteria for business solutions Skilled in project planning, setting milestones, and scaling out Expertise in test-driven development and AB testing Capable of providing ongoing support and enhancement of business solutions Proficiency in artifact and validation plan creation Experience in managing project portfolios Strong understanding of computer sciences Capable of working collaboratively with partners Ability to record time entries accurately Experience in creating user requirements documentation.
