This position is an excellent opportunity for growth in a Government oriented business. This individual will become a subject matter expert through experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other government agency supplemental regulations. Position to be filled in Phoenix, Clearwater, or Minneapolis.Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a U.S. CitizenKey Responsibilities

Responsible for the analysis and preparation of Incurred Cost Proposals and unallowable reviews pertaining to final claimed cost

Responsible for the preparation of forward pricing rate proposals and the primary interface with DCAA audit of these proposals

Responsible for the preparation of the quarterly Rate Monitorship Report, including variance analysis, data analytics and trending

Primary interface with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency), regarding Business Systems, CAS, Incurred Cost, Forward Pricing and final voucher audits

Support of cost accounting change language related to segment disclosure statements and the analysis of cost impacts as required by the CAS

Support the analysis of rate trending models, final incurred cost rates and calculating associated cost impacts

Supports cross functionally Government Accounting and Compliance matters, reinforcing awareness through training, preparing white papers and testing internal controls

Ongoing interaction and partnership with Honeywell Government Compliance team members

Ongoing support of HOS implementation and sustainment

Other duties as assigned by Manager

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting

We Value

Strong SAP experience

Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Experience with FAR, CAS and U.S. Government Compliance is desired

Excellent communication skills, written and oral

CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting considered a plus

Strong financial and business analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Independent, self-starter, with a strong work ethic, high degree of motivation and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude

Strong bias for action; results oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and team across organizational or functional boundaries

Six Sigma certified or trained preferred
