Position: Solutions Architect / Implementation ManagerOur company is vertically integrated with SaaS, Supply Chain, and ReCommerce business units, working under one roof to make the most impact for our clients.
Position Summary:We are looking for a results-driven, detail-oriented, and organized Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership and support to the business development and sales team during the pre-sales process and lead the development of client solutions across our across our broad portfolio of capabilities. Responsibilities include running client-facing discovery sessions, developing solution proposals and workflows, identifying and defining required new product development that aligns with our product roadmap, and providing solutions scope and timelines. A successful candidate will work directly with both our clients and the Business Development, Supply Chain Operations, Product Development, Sales, Finance, and Implementation teams to design solutions that meet client needs and ensure that deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. A successful candidate will also be creative, constantly pushing our organization to grow and improve our portfolio of solutions across our three pillars of SaaS, Supply Chain, and ReCommerce. Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the teammate occupying this position.- Run discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand key objectives, issues, requirements, value propositions, and decision processes
- Understand customer business objectives and technical requirements and identify areas where the company’s products or services can provide value
- Work closely with Technology and Operations teams to design solutions that meet client business needs, taking in account factors such as scalability, performance, security and other technical and non-technical requirements, and create proposals that outline the solution design, its benefits, and its costs, align them with product development roadmaps, and achieve desired value within acceptable scope and timelines
- Conduct product demonstrations and support pre-sales activities including technical RFI/RFP responses, creation of practical demonstrations of proposed solutions, and the development of pricing methodologies
- Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed solutions
- Work alongside project management to successfully monitor progress of implementations
- Account for possible project challenges including risks to timelines, resources, and scope
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and third parties
- Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or another appropriate field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience with multiple successful implementations
- Ability to excel within a quickly paced, entrepreneurial business culture
- Be equally fluent across both technology, architecture, and supply chain methodologies
- Experience in software engineering, design architecture, and workflow creation
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
- Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills when faced with new challenges
- Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail
