We have over 65,000 employees and a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues.Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead a team that designs, develops, and maintains the cloud platform infrastructure and services adhering to key DevOps principles

Build and lead a distributed team to ensure high availability for the organization’s platform and its associated application infrastructure environments in Azure

Develop and maintain 2 to 3-year strategic cloud infrastructure plan including long-term vision, technology roadmaps, goals and objectives

Build and lead a skilled team of individuals that will patch, backup, monitor, alert and report on the Cloud infrastructure environment and serve as point of contact for all issues that require escalation or technical analysis for resolution

This position will work with the broader IT and business organization to deliver solutions, serve as a subject matter expert in end user computing technology, manage governance and compliance to the standards, and drive focus on delivering an excellent customer experience

ITSM / ITIL Service Management – Oversee activities related to assigned ITSM tasks and initiatives including planning, prioritizing, coordinating with process leaders, and resolving issues as they arise.

Responsible for monitoring and managing Cloud spend as a key part of Infrastructure operations

Provide an essential function for coordinating upgrades, deployments, backups, security vulnerabilities, patching and proactive monitoring in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to drive sustained business improvement

Implement, and maintain security technologies and sound engineering design for all cloud deployments

Support end-to-end systems infrastructure design, capacity planning and performance management, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement

Ensure healthcare information security best practice controls are in place and they adhere to HIPAA utilizing a common control framework (i.e. NIST, HITRUST CSF)

Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of cloud network, storage, and compute technologies

Manage the engineering of the desktop hardware, native and virtualized Windows operating systems (on-prem and in cloud)

Develop and Manage the inventory of software, hardware, and desktop images deployed to the end user community by driving IT support partners and staff to provide detailed reporting

ANCILLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIESInspire and provide leadership, direction, and strategy for a growing team while coaching, training, mentoring, and developing team members with a willingness and ability to be hands-on

Ability to define infrastructure KPI/KQI/SLO parameters to monitoring systems for alerts/alarms

Drive and enable teams to establish and progress toward key metrics to measure success—i.e. key performance indicators (KPIs) and/or objectives and key results (OKRs)

Develop and oversee change management and quality assurance processes including review and approval of engineering design proposals, implementation plans, and acceptance plans

Implement reliable and scalable automation solutions using out of box thinking, delivering high quality user experiences

Work independently with vendors to understand, test, and drive new innovative features

Provide engineering support and enhance the production support capabilities through data driven automation

Manage capital budget, commercial contracts, software purchase orders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Expert knowledge of SaaS / PaaS / IaaS / DaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) including Infrastructure as code with Terraform, or similar, utilization

Extensive knowledge of cloud technology and cost components/drivers, particularly Azure

Demonstrated expertise in ITIL, ability to establish vision, drive organizational change and deliver positive results in an IT operations environment is required

Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams to develop, document and improve processes

Experience in implementing a structured approach and process to IT service delivery and support within a corporate environment

Experience developing and managing SLA's, key performance indicators (KPIs) for ITIL processes and various IT work environments

Experience working with ITSM software applications, analyzing and directing improvements for business results with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system

Qualifications:10-15+ years of experience leading technology teams and/or managing direct reports

8+ years of experience in MS Azure cloud technologies, or similar 3+ years of experience with Cloud financial modeling and cost management: including cloud optimization opportunities, chargeback process, cloud budget and forecasting, tagging governance

Experience with understanding HIPAA/HITECH regulations and guidelines for securing ePHI & PII data

Experience developing formal and standard ways of communicating technology roadmaps and diagrams to technical and non-technical stakeholders In depth knowledge of virtualization, Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as code, messaging platform, Storage / RDBMS and No-SQL databases
