Sr. Manager, Financial Shared Services

Reports to:       Director of Accounting and ControlsLocation:          Palm Beach Gardens, FL Summary:   The Financial Shared Services Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the transactional accounting activities of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions at Chromalloy Gas Turbine overseeing the daily AR & AP processes for our domestic operations and corporate departments. This position will lead the shared services team towards best practice in the industry to ensure transactions are accounted for in a timely fashion, with uncompromised quality, in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.  The Senior Manager will ensure the financial shared services function is structured to facilitate growth and is scalable in a cost-efficient manner.  The position works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.  In addition, the Senior Manager exercises judgement within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Accountabilities:Responsible for the management, direction, and operation of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely and accurate accounting of customer and vendor invoice transactions.  Reviews integrity reports and investigates variances.Builds and develops a competent team of managers, clerks and analysts to support internal and external customers.Champions the reporting of KPI’s, internal and external stakeholder satisfaction and trends to Senior LeadershipDrafts financial accounting policies and procedures over the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, as required.  Ensures the implementation of policies and procedures within each department.Drives the implementation of new and innovative ideas for process improvement to increase operational efficiencies and productivity to support business goals.Trains, coaches and mentors the Financial Shared Services team members, including talent development to build a strong support team.Ensures compliance with corporate policies and other governance requirements.Establishes, maintains and ensures compliances with internal controls over the Financial Shared Services function and monitors risks and barriers; creates and executes applicable mitigation strategies.Supports treasury team with cash flow forecasting and site finance teams with month-end closings, reconciliations, analysis and journal entries needed. Competencies:Functional / Technical Skills: Strong end to end AR/AP cycle understanding.  Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.Problem Solving & Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAction Orientation: Highly driven to achieve KPI’s established for the shared service functionInterpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborateCommunication: Strong written and verbal communicationsChange Management: Comfortable with change and working in a fast-paced environment
