Position: Sr. MuleSoft Architect Location: 900 South Pine Island Road, Plantation, FL 33324 Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000

Duties :
  • Use advanced technology and scientific theories/methods specific to systems integration technology to analyze, design, code, perform quality control and engineering, and customize software as part of ongoing development and maintenance program.
  • Exercise judgment regarding solution design, project management, including all phases of software lifecycle development.
  • Design, build and deliver reusable assert, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to facilitate API and integrations solutions.
  • Work cross functionally with a broad set of business partners, using keen business process understanding and critical thinking to design, develop, test, and document APIs.
  • Contribute to the core integrations platform team by sharing knowledge, mentoring developers on advance concepts and technical capabilities, guiding on solution architecture, and keeping up with the new trends and best practices as they evolve in the industry.
  • Build API-led connectivity integration strategy based on principles reusability, scalability, security; build continuous Integration and continues deployment strategies using automation tools for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployments.
  • Create software security strategies to protect access to digital assets, API, and SOA endpoints; maintain data integrity and confidentiality by applying security algorithms such as digital signatures, CRC (cyclic redundancy checks), and encrypting all or part of confidential message payloads.

Minimum Requirements :
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Must have completed following certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4); MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect; and MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect
  • Must have 6 years of progressive experience in Software Architect positions.
  • Must have 3 years of experience with the following:
    • Software development and integration architecture within the group insurance and group benefit industry.
    • Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint platform including Insight, API Analytics, Anypoint Exchange and API-led connectivity approach.
    • Building and delivering highly available and scalable applications and APIs within a cloud environment leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint platform, Java, Groovy, Python, Shell Scripting, RegEx, RAML, SQL Server, H2 database, Ehcache, OData, Splunk and Dynatrace.
    • Enterprise integration design patterns, integration and communication protocols and brokers: JMS, AMQP and MQTT, Anypoint MQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka and Spark.
    • Working knowledge of OAuth2.0, SAML, OpenID connect, digital certificate, and x.509 Certificate for protecting APIs and digital assets.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with:
    • Predictive analytics using event data, statistical algorithms, and machine learning techniques.
    • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and working expertise of Maven, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Chef and Puppet.
    • Salesforce, ClaimVantage, Workday, ServiceNow, Thunderhead, Smart Communications, DocuSign and IBM FileNet systems for group benefit, group life, disability and absence management industry.
  • Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Aflac offices in Plantation, FL. Must be available to travel to Plantation, FL regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours' notice.

Total Rewards This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000.
