Leading production crews and partnering with internal teams and industry experts, you will deliver impactful events that strengthen awareness, trust, and alignment with Mayo Clinic’s strategic goals. This role encompasses overseeing technical production for virtual, in-person, and broadcast events of varying scales.You will strategically plan, design, and execute meetings in collaboration with Mayo Clinic stakeholders, ensuring events meet objectives through effective resource management and technical proficiency. Ideal candidates are seasoned event producers who excel in creating exceptional event experiences from start to finish. This position requires strong attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. Expertise in event production planning, including budget oversight, venue logistics, and adherence to industry standards, is essential. Leadership skills are vital for delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality results while staying abreast of industry trends and operational challenges.Responsible for high level of administrative, logistical and technical duties in the pre-production and production of live and scripted programs. Will be responsible for creation of highly complex video programming, such as documentary, historical, Staff/employee education, patient education, executive communications, benefactor programming, news releases, long format scripted programs for staff/Physician/ consultant/scientist support and clinical documentation. These videos will have a very high level of quality with very high level of complexity. Works independently a majority of the time and utilizes and demonstrates organizational skills, creativity, self-motivation, and a high degree of production skill. Must have ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously including budget development and management.This position is a combination of remote and onsite support work. Individual must live within driving distance to the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville campus.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.QualificationsA bachelor's degree in a media-related field and a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in corporate video production; or ten (10) years of relevant experience. Must have a high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with senior level Mayo Clinic personnel and numerous non-Mayo professionals and benefactors. Demonstrated skills in script review, mentoring colleagues, resource management, team collaboration, and understanding of Mayo’s committee structure.Strong familiarity with all aspects of studio and field television production, including producing and directing with significant proficiency in the use of video cameras, lighting equipment, related video production and editing. Ability to manage large video crews during major video productions. Works independently in completion of job responsibilities. Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to translate ideas of medical professionals into finished high-quality programs.
