Description We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer located in Delray Beach, Florida. This role is key to our operations in the time-tracking solutions industry. The Sr. Software Developer will work closely with the technology team to enhance our core application and handle integrations with external systems. Responsibilities: Take the technical lead for our application, overseeing end-to-end feature development, upgrades, configurations, and integrations. Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements. Develop and implement APIs to enhance the application's connectivity with third-party systems. Improve front-end functionality using React and JavaScript, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Drive backend development in PHP and Laravel, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and maintainability. Evaluate and implement new tools, libraries, and best practices to streamline processes and improve code quality. Independently manage project timelines, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality code. Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Business Logic, Client Side Scripting, Cloud Technologies, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, JavaScript, PHP, React, Laravel, Full stack software, API - Application Programming Interface. Requirements The candidate should possess a bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented experience as a Software Developer is required. Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, a key tool for managing product development, is necessary. Experience in Backend Development to handle server-side programming is required. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Business Logic is needed. Expertise in Client Side Scripting to create interactive web applications is essential. Knowledge in Cloud Technologies is crucial to handle modern computing needs. Experience in AB Testing to optimize the product interface and experience is required. Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies to manage the development process is necessary. Proficiency in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications is needed. Must have experience in API Development to allow communication between different software systems. Expertise in ASP.NET for building robust web applications is required. Proficiency in JavaScript, PHP, React and Laravel, key languages and frameworks for web development, is necessary. Experience in Full stack software development, handling both front-end and back-end tasks, is required. Knowledge of API - Application Programming Interface to design interaction between different software intermediaries is needed.
