Publixs Information Services (I/S) department is located in Lakeland, Florida and Alpharetta, Georgia and employs over 1000 associates. I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. Join the team to develop and support a new Retirement system at Publix. This team will be responsible for developing a brand-new application to replace the current Retirement system used at Publix. As a team member, you will participate in gathering requirements, designing new features and functions, coding, and providing support to Publixs Benefits department. As the application is deployed the team will transition to supporting and enhancing the system The application will be coded using .NET core, MVC, and have a SQL backend. We are looking for someone who specializes in Web and UI development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a project team and be a part of development on a major system at Publix.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
- 5+ years of full-stack web development experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework, including C# and MVC
- 5+ years of web application design and development experience using HTML, HTML5, jQuery, Bootstrap and CSS
- 4+ years of experience with SQL Server includes writing complex SQL query and Stored procedure
- Experience working in Agile framework with Azure DevOps including code management, creating pull requests, backlogs, sprints
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and full SDLC experience
- Experience building web applications with Telerik/Kendo .Net core controls
- Experience with writing UI Unit test cases with MOQ and XUnit
- Knowledge of CICD pipeline and deployments
