About the Role:

DayToDay Responsbilities:

  • Ascendion is looking for an SRE for a large healthcare company in the Tampa area. This role will be working to build out containers and set up all monitoring and alerting and dashboards. This role will be driving general SRE and system engineer duties.

Must Have:

  • Experience developing in multiple enterprise-level programming and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, .Net, Python, C#, Cobol, and Go.
  • Experience with large SQL & No SQL databases i.e., Oracle, Mongo, MYSQL, PSQL.
  • Experience with Linux and Unix.
  • Experience with varying code repositories, auto deployments, and branching with tools such as Gitlab, Bitbucket, and Subversion.
  • Experience with monitoring tools - Splunk and Dynatrac.
  • DevOps and/or DevSecOps experience.
  • Experience with enterprise-level CICD Tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Cloudbees, and OpenShift.
  • Experience with creating CICD pipelines.
  • Experience working in AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with IT service management tools such as Service Now, Atlassian, and BMC.
  • Problem-solving and problem-management skills.
  • Documentation (technical writing, data modeling, wireframe, process flow).
  • Ability to communicate to a broad range of technical and leadership audiences.
