Staff Accountant

Description We are looking to bring on board a Staff Accountant in Miami, Florida. This role primarily entails supporting our finance and accounting operations, providing accurate and timely financial information, and performing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial information. Conduct monthly reconciliations for applicable balance sheet accounts. Handle bookkeeping and preparation of monthly financial packages. Manage banking operations including bank reconciliations, cash receipts, bank transfers, and incoming wires. Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for financial management. Perform tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain general ledger and make necessary journal entries.
