Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Longwood, Florida. As a part of our team, you will be playing a crucial role in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Execute full-cycle accounting tasks including managing accounts receivable and accounts payable Oversee general ledger entries and perform bank reconciliations Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis ensuring accuracy and timeliness Analyze financial information and summarize the financial status of the company Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial planning processes Review and suggest modifications to accounting systems and procedures Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies Take part in setting financial standards and in the forecast process Work collaboratively with the accounting team to enhance and improve financial processes Handle journal entries and month-end close procedures.
