Ability to analyze and manipulate data, communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Ability to work in a collaborative manner as a part of an organization team focused on exemplary customer service and quality service delivery, work independently, and work under pressure and with multiple deadlines. Ability to write administrative scripts to automate tasks. Attention to detail and consistency. Experience with backup tools and technologies. Extensive experience with Commvault Backup software up to at least version 11. Extensive experience administering Volume Managers, file systems, and Backup and Recovery software. Fundamental knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and networking technologies. Fundamental knowledge of system security best practices, data center operations, and enterprise-level multi-tenant systems. Fundamental knowledge of networking principles and protocols (OSI layers, TCPIP, subnetting, IPV4, IPV6). Knowledge of prevalent management tools and utilities applicable to the platform and services provided by the section, virtualization technologies, and security principles and best practices. Working knowledge of Windows and Open Systems operating systems and their access methods for storage and backup.
