- An experienced technical member of an engineering team. The position will work across multiple disciplines to deliver IT products and services to the organization that scale efficiently while improving performance and minimizing costs.
- A mentor to less experienced individuals and performs both routine engineering tasks and more complex project functions. This role may be a domain expert in a specific technology or discipline and is able to work independently with minimal supervision within their domain.
- A lead contributor to strategies, standards, new capabilities, automated workflows, and development of new services within the organization.
- An excellent team player and have demonstrated experience across multiple systems.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM field.
- Certification: Intermediate technical certification required within one year of hire.
- Work Experience: Four years of experience in delivery of IT solutions to include server, storage, network, client systems engineering and/or security engineering required.
- Certification: Current intermediate level technical certification.
- Work Experience: 4-6 years of experience preferred within healthcare or a similarly complex industry.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Competency with scripting or automation technologies; python, ansible or PowerShell.
- Thorough understanding of current development and trends in Information Technology and intermediate level experience in one or more of the following domains: Infrastructure engineering: network, server, storage, and/or voice

- Software engineering
- Windows and Linux
- Database engineering
- Public cloud environments
- Office 365
- Strong soft skills, verbal, and written communications, including the ability to turn complex technical topics into understandable terminology is a necessity.

- Lead contributor to the development of enterprise engineering solutions, conducts reviews and validation of systems, code, and security.
- Builds to system and security standards for the organization and helps to train junior engineers.
- Develops automation of information services workflows and services.
- Works with and coordinates cross functional teams and vendors to ensure health of the IT systems.
- Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
- Reviews and jointly develops specifications and requirements for complex software programming applications with users and vendors.
- Analyzes and installs new application systems. Provides input into technical "walk-throughs." Assures software accuracy, completion, and validity. Responsible for overall technical system specification and project control.
- Will manage/lead technical projects within their area of expertise. Communicates with users and management the status and completion of work requests.
- Supports, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise IT solutions with the ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Associates degree plus six years of applicable technical experience in areas as noted above.
- Or, in lieu of no degree, eight years of applicable technical experience in areas as noted above.
- Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping
- Long periods of computer time or at workstation
- Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
- May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise
- Communicating with others to exchange information.

- Workspace may vary from open to confined, on site or remote
