Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Systems Administrator with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Deploys, documents and cross trains on new servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Supports LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Maintains and monitors overall system health, efficiency, and security.
- Maintains backup systems and understands business continuity.
- Troubleshoots problems reported by users.
- Knowledge of security policies and practices. Every decision and action consider the security risk and implications.
- Ability to analyzes and isolate issues. Strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Monitors environment to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Maintains active directory and office 365.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding and ability to use cloud services to include, but not limited to Azure and AWS.
- Working knowledge of virtualization and hyper-converged technologies.
- Ability to explain and document technical concepts to inexperienced users.
- Understands and utilizes scripting to enhance and maintain the environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 4+ years in a similar role.
- Minimum 8+ years' work experience & minimum of 5+ years in a similar role.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong oral / written communication skills, and able to deal effectively with personnel from all levels of organization.
