Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a government contractor to find a

Systems Administrator Work Center Lead with management experience. This is a direct hire role that is 100% onsite. The Lead will motivate and direct a team of senior-level Systems Administrators.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced technical solutions for the management of software, hardware, configuration, and architectures
  • Provide troubleshooting support for highly difficult system hardware and software issues
  • Support transmission/transport mediums (VPNs, dedicated circuits, broadband, etc.); work with public carriers and other circuit providers to deliver network services
  • Provide configuration management support in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Develop implementation plans for basic software installations, upgrades to operating systems, and layered software packages
  • Develop training materials for end-user training on the proper use of hardware and software
  • Mentor and review the work of less experienced team members

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • Experience in management and strong leadership skills is a must
  • Expertise in Systems Administration of Windows servers
  • Knowledge in one or more of these areas is desired: MECM/SCCM, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange
  • Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II, MCSA Server 2016 or MS AZ-104
  • Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
  • Clearance Type: active Secret clearance
