Job DescriptionHuntington Ingalls Mission Technologies is looking for a Systems Engineer to work in our Orlando, Fl office with a team of 3-D Game developers to produce 3-D Game Engine based trainers for the U.S. Navy. The Systems Engineer will be required to work in-office with our development team and military customer.Essential Job Responsibilities• Conducts requirements gathering meetings with Government/Military stakeholders, perform requirements analysis, and produces requirements and testing documentation. • Participates in the Software/System Requirements Review and Design review meetings with the Government/Military stakeholders. • Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output. • Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools. • Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. • Evaluates the existing systems and provide technical direction to the development staff. • Oversees the development of customized software and hardware requirement. • Collaborates with the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures. • Deals with work processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders. • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. • Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Minimum Qualifications0 years experience with a Bachelor of Science degree; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.Preferred Requirements- Proficiency with Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook)
