We are recruiting for a great new business and technically focused role for our long-term financial services client in Tampa Bay.
This is a direct hire position working a hybrid work schedule - Monday and Friday (WFH) and in the office Tues/Wed/Thursday. Local Tampa Bay candidates only.In this role, you will be directly responsible for interacting with Stakeholders and Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand strategic and tactical needs, and to work on solutions to meet goals and efficienciesDuties include:- Clarifies and validates the business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
- Works with Agile Teams, Architecture, and Business Workstreams to ensure consistent collaboration toward successful analysis and development of workstream-related initiatives
- Partners with functional and technical groups within the organization to clarify and document assumptions, functional and non-functional business requirements, high-level use cases, business rules, etc.
- Builds partnerships with the business and technical representatives to create a team atmosphere while in problem-solving activities
- Acts as a consultant to other Solutions Analysts in large, complex, and potentially enterprise-wide projects and to other project teams and clients
- Conducts structured interviews with various business and technical representatives to elicit and document information relating to a specific business situation
- Creates workflow diagrams that reflect current and future state and performs gap analyses between current and future state
- Negotiates with business partners to identify phased approaches to attaining the desired future state, balancing pros, and costs.
- Works with team and architects to identify alternative technical approaches, balancing pros, cons and costs
- Develops presentations to business and technical partners to communicate/sell findings and recommendations
- At least 10 years of applicable business/solution analysis experience
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with emphasis on pro-active brainstorming and debating dialogues
- Experience with interviewing, researching, and documenting findings
- Data Mapping experience
- Knowledge of how technology can assist the business
- Agile experience
- High energy, positive thinking, and an assertive personality that is perceived as professional, open, intelligent, and a remarkable contributor to any team
- Knowledge of Life Insurance applications or financial services, Web Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and/or MuleSoft preferred
