The Product Owner role will include precise attention to detail when writing requirements in a language that is business-user friendly and skills in working with a development team leveraging technologies such as JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET, Azure, and Sitecore across a core .NET and web skillset. You will work with a highly technical development team to develop great software solving our customers’ most important needs. We are looking for a technical candidate with strong analytical, problem solving, and development skills, including the ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex environment and to communicate complicated technical topics effectively at multiple levels.In this role, you will work with both IT management and Product Management to further define feature sets into concise product backlog items. These product backlog items will include requirement definition and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps, which you will own from initiation to completion while working with Product Management and UX team. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development using .NET, ASP.NET, C# and SQL
Minimum of 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Minimum of 5 years of experience with datastores and querying complex data
Minimum of 5 years of strong experience integrating with complex interconnected systems
Minimum of 2 years writing detailed requirements for development teams
Positive attitude to improve our customers’ lives.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience supporting, designing, and developing responsive ecommerce websites
7+ years of experience in application development using .NET, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, and JavaScript front-end development skillset
7+ years of experience designing and developing websites running in a multi-platform distributed environment
5+ years of experience writing detailed requirements for development teams
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar for writing requirements
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with Sitecore platform
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Experience with MVC and other design patterns
Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or a similar tool
Experience with unit testing, such as NUnit or XUnit,
Experience with dependency injection
Experience in analyzing and tuning code performance
Experience in working cloud systems, such as an Azure-hosted environment
Experience with Redis or a similar distributed caching platform
