- Associate/Technical Degree OR 2 years relevant experience, OR a combination of both college and experience equivalent to 2 years
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 4 years
- 2 to 3 years of experience in writing technical articles, proven experience working in a technical writing position
- Models’ ethical behavior and executes job responsibilities in accordance with core values, ethics, and information protection policies.
- Prepare written documents, including reports, Instruction manuals, process documentation, how to’ s, and general information documents. According to set standards, clarity, conciseness,style and terminology.
- Analyse, interpret, and simplify technical, or operational information in a manner tailored for each document’s intended audience.
- Confer with customer representatives, and IT personnel to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and other Knowledge Managers to review published materials and identify and implement revisions or changes in scope, format, or content based on a regular schedule.
- Select photographs, screen shots, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate subject material
- Coordinate with IT and corporate customers to review and revise as needed on a scheduled basis that is mutually agreed upon.
