SUMMARY: The UI/UX Manager leads the development of user experience design, including research, scenarios, wireframes, and testing. The UI/UX manager will work closely with our Digital Banking Product team to ensure seamless web/mobile design and the successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across our Retail and Small Business digital platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.- Lead the UX/UI transformation of BankUnited.
- Lead digital design across platforms to support the Bank's digital strategy.
- Collaborate with product owners and UI designers.
- Coordinate with project managers and IT.
- Design and deliver complex wireframes, sitemaps, and workflows.
- Help analyze user feedback and activity and iterate to improve the user experience.
- Develop personas, usage scenarios, and journey maps.
- Determine the business rules, design interactions and client flows for the client experience and support the documentation of business requirements.
- Work with business partners and 3rd party vendors to create bold new approaches to how we think about the digital experience.
- Facilitate customer/employee focus groups to gather feedback on the UX of current digital products.
- Analyze data from digital platform and customer feedback to enhance the User Experience of the digital products
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
- At least years 3 of experience with user experience (UX) design and designing digital products or omni-channel services required
- Comfort and experience in working with both business and technology groupsrequired

- Working with developers to create schematic solutions to business problems required

- Experience in analyzing customer responses and website data to examine high traffic web pages and determine why certain webpages perform better
- Experience with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, and Zeplin
- Experience organizing user groups to gather feedback and iterate to improve the user experience
