Veterinary Technician Position Available

The Falls Animal Clinic in Palmetto Bay is looking for a skilled Veterinary Technician with a MINIMUM of 1 year experience to play an important role in our clinic. We are a privately owned ,small animal hospital with a focus on delivering high quality patient care along with exceptional client experience. Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

Support and assist veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care

Client education

Must be skilled in blood draws and catheter placement

Laboratory procedures, including in-house blood machines, sample handling, completion of reference lab forms, filling prescriptions

Knowledge of canine and feline Vaccines

Maintain and update medical records , administer medications and treatments

Ability to lift 40 pounds, multitask and work independently

Must be reliable, on time, and clearly communicate and relay information to doctors and staff.
