Are you ready to join this team and make an impact?"The Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk is an hourly role supporting the Resort Housekeeping and Custodial departments. You will perform an array of responsibilities to fill furniture needs at the resort to ensure it meets quality and Disney "good show" standards.You will report to the Housekeeping Director.This is an hourly Full Time role.What You Will Do:
Complete resort property walks inside guest rooms and public areas to settle needs to repair or replace furniture
Exchange furniture and other items from inside guest rooms and public areas
Coordinate and partner the efforts for inventory and furniture moves in and out of public spaces, storage areas and guest rooms
Be the liaison between both Disney and third-party vendors for furniture ordering, repairs, delivery, and installation
Lead and count physical inventory of warehouse and other storage locations for departments
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials; packing boxes; place orders in delivery area
Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of items received or distributed in HotSOS reporting or service orders
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in storage locations according to organizational standards
Send regular reports and communication to leadership team to keep them updated on warehouse inventory/furniture needs and budget spent
Prepare parcels for mailing
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in stock and furniture
You Will Have:
Experience with inventory, warehouse, equipment maintenance, data entry, or analytical work
Proficiency using Excel, Outlook and ability to learn new computer applications quickly
Advanced skills tracking progress of multiple requests and small details
Capability to manage relationships and communication across teams to ensure leadership, vendors and Cast Members understand requests and level of importance
Initiative to take alternate action to improve efficiency and work independently
Ability to lift and move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Must possess a valid US Driver License
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
Knowledge and proficiency of SAP and marketplace purchasing
Knowledge and proficiency in HotSOS
Education:
High School Diploma
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
