Woman - do you want to be your own boss, dependent only on yourself?

In light of the current climate, I would like to train a woman to become a very successful handywoman entrepreneur. I feel that it is my duty/payback to help a woman succeed in this business. My relationship with women has been so inspiring that I see no reason why this won't work well! In fact, many women that I know are far superior to men in dealing with customers. This should make them more capable in this role than their counterparts.

My customers pay me $100/hour for my time on-site, to hang, fix, organize, replace, clean, and repair their stuff. My knowledge and a some work are what they pay me for. I believe that my knowledge can be learned by a very bright woman, without regard to her educational background. I am a Physicist, inventor, entrepreneur, anti-terrorist, and writer, so I bring a lot of diverse knowledge to the table of your learning handywoman skills. I promise that you won't be bored as you learn the required skills.

What seems important to me is your ability to work and enjoy working with any/all people. That does not mean to be submissive; to the contrary! It means that you respect all customers, without regard to who, where they are on the social scale, or their uniqueness! No day will be routine. I almost always find people to be entertaining! If they aren't open to conversation (becomming my friend), I ask them questions until I discover a uniqueness and then I explore it. I love finding the uniqueness in people and making them feel good about it. That is my 'special sauce' that makes my customers like me! If someone disrespects you, you have the right to deal with them as you wish. You can walk out, tell them exactly how you feel about their disrespectful attitude, but in the end, you either take a loss or make a profit on the job! That makes you a relationship manager/negotiator!

You must be a problem solver. That must be in your bones! After training, you must be willing to take the hard jobs along with the easy jobs. You can always call me for support if the job becomes too difficult. After training, you will manage your business yourself, with my help if you need it.

As a woman, you will need to have something special that your customers like and want more of! That may be your attitude, appearance, smile, sense of humor, accent, honesty, or something that stands out as very special! That will give you a clear advantage over your competitors. Your customers will call on you in the future, just because they like you!

I've often thought of myself as a visual thinker and problem solver. I have solved problems that no one else in the world has solved! Some people consider me to have special needs/slow, excessive, and others consider me a genius, which I am NOT. I suppose it depends on how much they open up to me!

I love the work of a handyman because I solve people's problems. That rings my bell! You will not have two days alike. Everyone and every job will be different! After training, there is as much work available to you as you want to do, which means that there is as much money to be made as you want to earn! At $100/hour, your income can grow rapidly! If you are so inspired, you can grow your business to employ others. If you are good at managing people, your income can explode like a rocket, but at the same time, you take on the responsibility for other people and their families! For much of my career, I worked as a sole entrepreneur with no employees. When I hired employees, I had difficulty delegating! Hiring is a personal choice and will depend on your personality and 'people skills'.

For sure, if you remain a sole proprietor or employ others, you must first learn the job very well, so that you can tell if your employees are doing their job well. For certain, you will need to be your own salesperson! Even if you have employees, you will need to meet the customer, build a relationship with them, follow up when the work is completed, and maintain a relationship with the customer for as long as you are in business!

I work on Marco Island, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, and Fort Myers Beach. The driving distance and prosperity of other communities cut severely into my profitability beyond those areas.
