Job Description:

Express Employment is seeking a motivated Yard Welder to join a growing team in Pompano Beach. This is an evaluation hire, with the opportunity to transition to direct employment with the company after 90 days. This role is ideal for individuals looking to continue a career in welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic welding tasks under guidance from experienced welders.

Assist with assembling, repairing, and maintaining metal structures and equipment.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating welding equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Inspect work for quality and accuracy.

Support yard operations as needed, including material handling and equipment movement.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic welding knowledge or training required; additional on-the-job training provided.

Ability to read and follow instructions, plans, and technical drawings.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for long periods, and work in outdoor conditions.

Commitment to safety and teamwork.
