Yardwork-digging up bamboo roots

$20/hour but you’ll need to start early in the morning to beat the heat and rain.

Need help taking up remaining bamboo roots about 2 to 4 feet below the surface. This is not an easy job.

Ideally a team of 2 or more with an auger and shovels might work best. If you have your own equipment and can knock it out quicker – even better. Happy to accept bids. If you have a landscaping company and all you’re gonna do is pull a few weeds maybe this isn’t your thing. I need someone to actually go a few feet down and expose and remove the remaining bamboo root clumps.

I have an area about 10‘ x 5‘ where I had a clump of timber bamboo removed. Stump grinders already came in and cleared the area, but obviously the roots go deeper than the surface and so I need someone to come in and clear all of the soil around the few remaining clumps of bamboo roots so that I can either set them on fire or cut them out with a chainsaw but the dirt needs to be removed to safely get a saw or chainsaw in there. This is an all day job for probably two people. This is tough work and if you have an auger to help dig holes really fast that would be super great. It will probably require the use of shovels and saws as the bamboo roots kind of spread out and might need to be taken out in sections. I have shovels and hand saws, but if you have better tools, feel free to bring them. Gloves would probably also be needed to protect your hands.
