Description Robert Half Management Resources is searching for a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager that is immediately available for a contract opportunity. This is a key leadership role that offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the financial success of our company.Responsibilities:
Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the finance team.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Review and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets.
Provide support for forecasting and variance analysis.
Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and set goals for team members.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process.
Address audit inquiries and implement corrective actions as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
Serve as a key liaison between the accounting department and other functional areas.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is preferred.
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
