Description Job Title: Automotive Accounting SpecialistJob Description:We are searching for a diligent and professional Automotive Accounting Specialist to join our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with excellent attention to detail and a strong background in automotive accounting operations, specifically in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Perform all reconciliations related to the automotive industry, including warranties, rebates, and incentives.Conduct routine journal entries and post transactions, while maintaining a detailed ledger.Ensure compliance with accounting policies, company guidelines, and pertinent regulations.Handle monthly closing activities and assist in preparing financial statements.Analyze financial data and provide support for annual audits.Provide support in budgeting and forecasting exercises.Resolve accounting discrepancies; provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external inquiries.Aid in improving financial processes, systems, and practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in automotive accounting, with emphasis on accounts payable, accounts receivable operations, and journal entries.Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistics.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as within a team.Join us and contribute to our company's success while advancing your career in the automotive accounting space.
