Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the non-profit industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected individual will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, and utilizing their proficiency in various software systems.Responsibilities: Handle phone calls professionally, ensuring efficient and effective communication Process and track invoices, verify them against work orders, and handle payments Maintain accurate records of monthly vendor invoice submissions against the annual budget Manage inventory, including reconciling, entering data, and tracking warehouse invoices Utilize Adobe Acrobat proficiently for editing, creating, and combining PDFs Apply working knowledge of work order management systems Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Suite for various tasks including data entry, document creation, and data analysis Demonstrate strong skills in Excel for data entry, organization, analysis, creating graphs, and using formulas Maintain attention to detail in all tasks, including formatting work and spelling. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Ceridian software Proficiency in using Concur Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Understanding of various accounting functions Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) Experience managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with auditing procedures Experience with billing functions Ability to work in the non-profit sector Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and in a team.
