Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. This role is situated within the finance industry and involves handling customer accounts, processing applications, and ensuring the accuracy of records. The position is based 100% onsite, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities: Manage the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. Maintain up-to-date and precise records of customer credit. Perform daily account monitoring and take necessary actions based on account status. Ensure accurate coding of invoices and handle data entry tasks. Conduct three-way match checks for invoices, ensuring all data aligns. Use your problem-solving skills to handle invoices with missing or incorrect purchase orders. Stay on top of unpaid invoices and follow up on received items. Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel for various tasks and record keeping. Develop full cycle accounts payable tasks over time. Handle a high volume of invoices daily, each potentially containing multiple lines to match and cross-check. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Coding Invoices is essential Proficient in Data Entry and Invoice Processing Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required Must have experience working with SAP Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on information at hand Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
