Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our team located in Marietta, Georgia. This role involves processing and recording customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable, interacting with customers, and maintaining and updating customer files. This position is a long-term contract role and is an integral part of our financial operations.Responsibilities: Accurately prepare, post, and verify customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Engage with customers to address issues related to payments, missed invoices and other requests. Maintain and regularly update customer files to ensure accurate record keeping. Use software tools such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel for account reconciliation and cash collections. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Utilize your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Cash Applications in daily tasks. Handle commercial collections efficiently. Utilize your proficiency in software such as SAP to streamline tasks. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation is necessary. Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Familiarity with billing processes is a must. Experience with cash applications is needed. Proven skills in cash collections and commercial collections are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. Knowledge of Oracle is a must. Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous. Proficiency in SAP is required.
