Itle Athletics Professional FLSA Exempt FTE 1.00 Minimum Qualifications
Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact
your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in
lieu of the required minimum qualifications. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a Division I Men's Basketball program as a player,
coach, or support staff. Position Summary Assist head coach with highly
competitive, Division I Men's Basketball Program; assist with
administration as it relates to recruiting, budgets, traveling, public
relations, fundraising camps and clinics; organizing and conducting
practices and competitions, administering and promoting all phases of
the UGA Men's Basketball Program. Works with the Head Men's Basketball
Coach to support the efficient and productive operation of the men's
basketball program. Provide support to the Head and Assistant Men's
Basketball Coaches in various areas of the program. Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities and/or Competencies Experience as Head or Associate/Assistant
basketball coach. Knowledge of rules of the game and playing strategies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent
