Description:TeamWe are seeking Associate Web Writer's to assist with a new project kicking off for the CDC. The program CDC.gov Content Optimization and Clean Up is to help the CDC's effective use its website to communicate, disseminate, educate, and engage on a variety of health topics. Over the next 1-2 years, CDC seeks to drastically clean up and optimize its web content. CDC's website has over 200,000 pages and has become difficult to manage. This project is to help CDC.gov users find the information they need quicker and easier.The WorkWe seek individuals with web writing experience to support work updating and optimizing content for migration to the client’s new content management system (CMS), which will be a version of WordPress. This work will happen under the direction of a task lead for content strategy and a lead content strategist. You will work with other web writers, content managers, and editors to serve one or more offices within the CDC as they update and migrate their content to the new system.
