Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role operates within the commercial real estate industry, specifically focusing on acquisitions and development within affordable housing. The selected candidate will be expected to manage new projects, draft documents, and resolve legal issues without requiring closing assistance. Responsibilities: Understand acquisitions and development within the context of commercial law Draft legal documents pertaining to acquisitions and development Handle legal inquiries related to affordable housing, multi-family housing, and low income tax Work within a team, providing legal advice and strategies Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the industry Manage and prioritize a diverse workload effectively Analyze legal issues relating to affordable and multi-family housing Provide advice on legal risks and possible legal issues related to commercial deals and other areas of law Collaborate with other members of the legal team to manage legal actions.Requirements Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must be an active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing. Demonstrated ability in Drafting legal documents with precision and attention to detail. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity. Strong research skills and proficiency in using legal databases. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
