Job Description
  • Senior Engineer on automation team, you will work on the automation framework architecture for a suite.
  • You will play an integral role in designing, implementing, and enhancing the current and future automation tools we use.
  • 4 to 6 years of Software Development or Automation Tools development experience
  • Experience with developing applications using web standards such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, and HTTP.
  • Experience creating an automation framework and automated test cases for UI, API, and back-end data processing applications.
  • Scripting experience with programming languages such as Python, Java.
  • Docker, Appium, Selenium, Jenkins, Jira, Test Case Management Tools and AWS experience
  • Experience in lean software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of kanban is a plus

Job Responsibilities
  • Experience creating an automation framework and automated test cases for UI, API, and back-end data processing applications.
  • Scripting experience with programming languages such as Python, Java and handson on Selenium.
  • This role will collaborate with other automation Engineers to build and modify frameworks that can be leveraged to reduce manual overhead, improve processes, and automate where possible.
  • Designing, implementing selfheal systems for Mobile/Server/cloud based applications and services.
  • Utilize open source tools or develop custom scripts for automating tests to validate software products involving both Mobile Applications, back-end processing systems and Web-based GUIs.
  • Write automation code using Python/Java as well as custom Linux shell scripts.
  • Support the scoping and implementation of technical solutions: estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and resiliency tests for multiple applications/subsystems.
  • Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and track quality assurance metrics.

Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
