Role: Business analyst/IT business systems analyst (with P&C Insurance Domain) Location: Atlanta/ GA Duration: 6 months Must Have Skills
- Minimum 3 years of In Property & Casualty and/or Reinsurance Insurance Business Domain Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a business analyst, IT business systems analyst
- Knowledge of USA Property & Casualty Insurance Market, Reinsurance market, Large Account Risk Pricing Tools, Business reporting (both Facultative and Treaty), Ceded - Assumed, Retro Business, Reinsurance Accounting, CAT Bonds, ART (Alternative Risk Transfer) Tools.
- Knowledge in the Underwriting, Policy Administration, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Data Warehouse, Rating, Reinsurance and claims process.
- The Business Analyst is responsible for working with business stakeholders to understand, define and document business processes, software requirements for information technology initiatives and support the business stakeholders in delivering digital solutions and products.
- Understanding the business needs, alignment with the business and customer satisfaction.
- Using relavant data recommend continuous improvements to business processes/services, digital solutions and products.
- Develop expertise in the functionality and operation of digital services, solutions and products supported by business technology team.
- Capture functional and non-functional requirements for both agile and lean projects.
- Create functional and non-functional requirement documents, use cases documents and process and workflow diagrams.
- Uses expert Business and Customer knowledge to create new test cases and execute test cases for the assigned stories, verify and report the results.
- Assists the Product Owner and Scrum Master/Project Manager to prepare for Team Sprint Reviews and System Demos. Leads the Review and Demo meetings.
- May extract test data from databases by creating new, or altering existing, complex SQL queries. The data will be used for testing and verification of results.
