Behavioral Health Intake CoordinatorSearch Department Behavioral HealthState/Territory GeorgiaWe are looking for behavioral health intake coordinators who will schedule routine behavioral intakes for members following a brief triage to determine appropriate services needed. In addition, the behavioral health intake coordinator will apply psychological/therapeutic knowledge and techniques to the problems of behavioral health and addictive disorders in children, adolescents and/or adults including but not limited to conducting various forms of group and individual therapy utilizing a variety of therapy skills including CBT, DBT, mindfulness and other evidence-based psychotherapy; assesses patients. Our practice is currently 80 behavioral health providers which include a variety of disciplines who provide a broad range of mental health services to our large outpatient practice.Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree in social work, psychology or related field of study and valid lcsw in the state of Georgia. Experience with conducting brief triage and initiating treatment plans for members. Case management experience is preferred. Has experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions

Must be familiar with DMS-V as a means of diagnosis

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards as is related to member treatment, patient rights, and member/patient confidentiality

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment

Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy. Clinician must have the ability to assess, diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders
