job detailsjob summary:Our Client is seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineering Architect to design, implement, and manage data solutions on AWS. Responsibilities include architecting scalable data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices for data governance and optimization.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with proven experience in data engineering on AWS. Key skills include proficiency with AWS services (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis), programming (Python, Scala, Java), and big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop). AWS certifications, DevOps experience, and knowledge of machine learning are preferred.This is a full time, direct hire position that comes with a competive base salary, a performance-based bonus and full benefits. Design, architect, and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions on the AWS platform.

Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.

Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in alignment with industry standards and regulations.

Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval mechanisms for performance and cost-efficiency.

Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon EMR, etc.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing workflows to ensure high availability and reliability.

Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics.
