Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a DevSecOps Build & Release Engineer team member in to support a Cyber Security program in Ft. Gordon, Augusta, GA.You will be working with our experienced engineering team developing workflows to support Department of Defense Cyber efforts. These workflows are tailored engineering efforts for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines integrating current and future cyber systems.We're looking for a highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic and a strong ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment. The primary team will be located in Tampa, Florida with distributed team members embedded directly with the customer. Our ability to communicate / coordinate highly technical requirements with team members is a priority due to competing priorities and demanding deadlines. Ideally, the candidate should possess a deep understanding and practical experience with the use of various tools to enable a DevSecOps lifecycle, to include build, release and configuration management, and has demonstrated the ability to move DevOps processes from concept to implementation. The candidate should be able to automate and continuously improve the DevOps infrastructure and workflows in close collaboration with software developers, testers, system operators, and other stakeholders through the selection, orchestration, configuration, and scripting of DevOps supporting tools. You must be able to work within a strict change management environment with the ability to document and test all changes prior to implementation. You will perform technical, operational, and security risk analysis for new changes and technologies and articulate risks in a succinct manner. Individual must be able to provide some mentorship and team / project organization skills. You must be able to quickly adapt new technologies to avoid limitations & obsolescence of both tools and systems.Job role supports government cyber test and evaluation environments through the development of automated build and test workflows in a CI/CD pipeline using enterprise solution products. Candidate will need to have a willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly, and get things done.Job Responsibilities:- Experience with automation of scheduled jobs to reduce labor intensive tasks. (i.e. program and script build and test plans with artifact generation.)
- Experience with Atlassian application suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket)

- Experience in designing and developing release cycle and deployment operations.

- Must possess or be able to obtain DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher within two (2) months of starting
- 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD: NOTE: Four (4) years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
- US Citizenship is required with an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance which was active in the last 24 months

- Experience with network design, virtual environments, and cyber systems design is preferred.
