Cabling and Wiring Technician

Please note that this is a 3+ months contract position. Local candidates only - must report onsite on day 1, candidates will be required face mask regardless of vaccination status.Must Have:- Coaxial, Ethernet cables and fiber jumpers (labeling, mounting etc.)- Cabling and Wiring experience.- 5-7 years experience required - min. 3 years team will consider.Nice to have:- Experience setting up computer equipment, ensure equipment is connected to Ethernet.- Electrical knowledgeThe main function of this position is to rack electronic equipment while installing cabling multiple Headend/Hub network devices. The contractor will be responsible for the organization, termination, testing and labelling of coaxial and Ethernet cabling as needed to move and install equipment in Engineering labs.Job Responsibilities include:• Rack headend equipment• Install associated coaxial and Ethernet cables• Connectorize coaxial and Ethernet cables• Test coaxial and Ethernet cables• Clean, test and install fiber jumpers• Label coaxial, Ethernet cables and fiber jumpers• Read and understand hub design and rack elevations• Maintain and submit all documentation (expense reports, timesheets, etc.) in a timely manner• Handling, load, and unload materials and equipment as needed to complete a project.Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED required.• 5-7 years experience required.• Able to lift 50 lbs, will work on latters with wiring racks.Applicants must provide their phone number.
