Responsible for conducting due diligence and preparing high quality financial models and presentation materials with increasing levels of autonomy. Provide direct oversight and coach the Corporate Finance Analysts.Mission critical member of Corporate Finance team that is heavily involved in all aspects of the deal process to alleviate senior teammates (Specialists & VPs) to focus on origination, executing upon, and closing highly complex transactions for the Commercial Community Bank

Idea generation around strategic capital alternatives including transaction structuring, analysis, screening and proposal for companies in the middle marketEnhanced understanding of complex financial modeling including merger modeling, leveraged buyout and debt capacity analysis, including sensitizing / stress testing

Perform detailed transaction due diligence and evaluation of key credit metricsMarketing material development, preparation and review

Conduct industry / market specific research and analysis to support credit evaluation and content creationReview Loan Syndications & Trading Association (“LSTA”) loan documentation and work with internal / external counsel to ensure proper documentation

Effectively works with teammates with minimal oversight; able to take ownership of active transactionsReview the work product of the Corporate Finance Analyst team and expedite deliverables to Specialists while providing guidance and coaching

Partner directly with regional coverage teams to consult directly on early stage transaction opportunitiesActively engage with and develop relationships across the bank (Portfolio Management, LevFin, Treasury, M&A, IB verticals)
