Client Manager-Physician Revenue Cycle ServicesOverview of PositionChange Healthcare’s Technology Enabled Services division has a new opening in the Boston area for a Physician Client Manager to manage physician revenue cycle. This individual must have a background in physician billing, physician revenue cycle and physician practice management. Candidates must live in the New England area and be willing to travel to Boston for meetings at least twice a month (possibly more in the beginning months) post COVID travel restrictions.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Regularly conducts client meetings to review accounts receivable performance, payer issues and trends, client's business strategies and cash flow forecast. Discussions and recommendations are expected to take into consideration Change Healthcare’s operations, local and national issues and trends as they affect the client and other issues as needed

Ensures the appropriate preparation, analysis and presentation of all Client Management deliverables (including A/R measurement statistics and payer trends, fee schedules, ad hoc financial reports) ensuring their relevancy, accuracy and overall quality. This may require interaction with operations management, the Change Healthcare National Support Center, and third-party payers

Responsible for managing all aspects of the business relationship with the customer

Ensures that all appropriate resources are available and utilized effectively/efficiently to maximize overall business management services

Develops and maintains positive client relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure client requests are handled appropriately (i.e. within time and budget)

This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a client, either from a financial or services/product standpoint. Position monitors/audits financial, reimbursement and information management services and is responsible for analyzing the billing effectiveness/cash flow and making recommendations to increase productivity and profitability

Utilizes their knowledge of the client/business, healthcare practice management and medical billing process/procedures to maximize performance relative to client relationship, client satisfaction, desired survey results and client/company financial performance indicators

What are the requirements needed for this position?5+ years healthcare practice management and medical billing experience

Minimum of 3 years physician practice management and medical billing experience is required

Candidates must possess a solid background in all aspects of physician revenue cycle management

Strong reporting and analysis skills are essential. Must have experience in identifying/reviewing trends in physician revenue cycle performance

Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. A proven ability to work effectively with physicians and senior management is required

Candidate must be PC proficient with MS Office products and must have outstanding presentation, interpersonal and financial analysis skills

Candidate must be a team player, detail oriented and should possess strong organizational and management skills

Candidates should have initiative, the ability to work independently, meet specific deadlines and be flexible with work schedule priorities

BS degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience in Healthcare Practice Management or Medical Billing

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with Pivot Tables is preferred

Demonstrated leadership skills preferred

Master’s degree preferred
