- Hands on experience using PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, sequences, Exception Handling, Indexes, Optimization, table partitioning, bulk SQL Loader, Oracle jobs etc.
- Ability to create succinct requirements, functional and detailed design documents.
- Good knowledge of best practices for database design architecture and Agile development methods.
- Intermediate understanding of project management and database security knowledge.
- Use of multiple client tools for development and tuning are a plus.
- ETL tools experience (ie Data Stage, Informatica) are a plus.
- C development skill set a plus.
- Experience migrating or converting to/from other DBMS a plus.
- End user system support a plus.
