About the Role

The Client Strategy Consulting Manager will lead and support the achievement of the client’s real estate transaction and portfolio strategies. We are looking for a curious and creative professional to join our team. Preferred locations include Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix.

What You’ll Do

Implement and maintain key processes to be followed by the function and defines portfolio management priorities for site, area and function planning, and other strategic activities for specific engagements and clients.

Partner with owners/managers of databases containing supply (lease administration and portfolio reports), demand (occupancy) and cost (operating expense) information. Develop comprehensive management models to support strategic consulting efforts and assignments.

Support the management and achievement of financial, operational and other established goals.

Collaborate with line of business team members and the client to develop real estate plans and implement strategies for achieving savings and cost avoidance objectives. Develop benchmarks, prepare and present results for the real estate portfolio to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

Conduct periodic interviews of business unit and other client leaders to identify future business direction related to growth, labor, market changes and other issues that could impact real estate requirements or provide insights relative to strategic and/or optimization-focused initiatives.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Masters degree or MBA preferred.

5+ years corporate real estate experience with emphasis on Strategic Planning, Occupancy Planning, and Transaction Management; expertise in corporate finance preferred with 5+ years asset/portfolio management experience.

Real estate license (where required by state law)

Professional certification, professional designations and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requires leadership and influencing capabilities.

Strong problem solving, interpersonal and analytical expertise.

Market and financial planning and analysis experience.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Products. Knowledge of real estate-specific software solutions like Tririga, Manhattan CenterStone, Siterra Plus, or Argus is a plus.
