Job Title: Color SorterJob DescriptionMonitors, cleans, and maintains the operation of all the various electronic eyes and sizing system equipment used to separate damaged product and foreign material from good product and maintain APSA grades. Monitors, cleans, and maintains various pieces of equipment used to size, convey, and clean shelled peanuts located in shelling and blanching plants and maintains the sanitation of the entire facility as needed. Extensive climbing and lifting required. Employees disassemble and reassemble various items located inside the electronic eyes such as the ejectors, lamps, and control boards. Completes various jobs assigned daily, including communicating with colleagues regarding operation of equipment, changes in flow rates, processing capabilities, safety and maintenance issues, paperwork, sanitation, maintenance, safety assignments, and food safety requirements.Hard Skills
