Commercial Print Specialist

Job TitleCommercial Print SpecialistPosition OverviewCommercial Print Services partners with all members of the commercial division to offer various types of print solutions. These positions will drive the execution for all print production across a variety of digital printing and finishing equipment. A strong partnership with the Digital Lab team is expected to ensure quality imagery is consistently maintained is expected in these positions.Responsibilities:

Inspect printed materials for quality control, making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality output

Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts as needed

Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with management when necessary

Coordinate and execute all production to ensure timely delivery

Maintain inventory of supplies and raw materials

Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift supplies up to 50 lbs.

Setting up and operating machines or equipment used in the finishing processes

Inspecting printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards

Trimming and cutting materials to size, using cutting machines or hand tools

Folding materials according to specific instructions and guidelines

Collating and assembling material in the correct order and sequence

Binding materials using various methods

Packaging finished materials for shipment or distribution

Maintaining and repairing equipment, as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or related equivalent

Minimum of 2 years working in a print production environment preferred

Pass Munsell Hue Color Discrimination Test

Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat

Ability to manage and perform multiple critical tasks simultaneously

Ability to plan, organize and execute strategically

Effective communication skills - both verbal and written
