JOB PURPOSE:The Community Relations Representative serves as a focused leader at a facility level providing community-based business development and relationship management to drive census development, community integration, and customer service. The CRR may support one or more facilities in a local defined market area.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifies and qualifies new business opportunities within hospitals and healthcare centers.

Call on potential new key accounts in the healthcare filed.

Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

Develops and executes tactics to maximize admissions of residents requiring a sub-acute level of care including regular contact with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.

Communicates and provides support to help execute marketing campaigns and plans.

Establishes strategic marketing plans to achieve occupancy objectives.

Support best practices by sharing information with other Community Relations Representatives.

Inputs/tracks account information and marketing activity and complete weekly/monthly/quarterly reports in specified format. Keeps abreast of industry trends/competitive activity and updates information as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor´s Degree requiredMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:3-5 years’ experience in Healthcare Sales/Marketing or equivalent combination of experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) Must be able to travel on day trips to local health care institutions. Demonstration of the principles of the sales process in the post-acute and assisted living pharmacy environment. Ability to manage a territory, to conduct sales calls and presentations, and to generate new business opportunities. Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS outlook.
